SWBL was presented as part of the exhibition Grain God Narrative, within the 11th Shanghai Biennale’s “City Project,” curated by three emerging curators from the Power Station of Art.

The project is grounded in multiple conceptual layers, taking the city of Shanghai as its point of departure and reflecting my personal perception of its rapid urban transformation during my time in China.

The notion of seriality plays a central role in my practice, and, as emphasized by the curators, aligning this logic of production with a temporal framework makes it possible to convey a tangible sense of evolution. In this way, the work translates urban growth and change into a structured visual sequence.
