R&BM project refers to the Red&Blue chair (1917-23), emblematic of the De Stijl movement, designed and made by Gerrit Rietveld. R&BM is meant to be imprinted rather in the art field.

This proposition aims at illustrating and materializing the switch in the owner’s behavior regarding objects which were once design furniture and now have become iconic items.

Their status as well as their initial function have slided – as far as I am concerned – from design towards art.
